8th in the Million Freeroll last night

I am a SNG grinder but have done well in MTTs over the years, just never have the time to play them. Yesterday I made the time for the freeroll and had a nice payday of $12k. Not too shabby. I had AA about 6 times, but KK and QQ once. The one time with QQ was at the final table and obv my bust hand against KK. This morning I am second guessing my play, 8k jump in pay and 10k after that, so a pretty shocking difference in money.
